Shaping Time: Hublot Reveals Classic Fusion Chronograph Orlinski
The partnership between Hublot and Richard Orlinski, a renowned French artist and ambassador for the Swiss luxury brand, extends into the current year with the introduction of their latest chronograph model – the Classic Fusion Chronograph Orlinski. Additionally, the collaboration features an exclusive line of replica Hublot timepieces, ensuring enthusiasts can embrace the distinctive style and craftsmanship associated with this extraordinary collaboration.
While prior iterations of this collection showcased a visually striking “sculptured” dial, the current rendition features a 41mm case meticulously crafted from sandblasted titanium, notable for its distinctive geometric facets. The case, characterized by a unique dodecagonal shape—a signature element of the collaboration since its inception in 2017—transforms the bezel into a captivating polygon. This polygonal frame elegantly surrounds the black dial, which hosts a central stop-seconds hand and two subdials positioned at 9 and 3 o’clock. Notably, the replica watches timepieces inspired by this model are currently in high production at the VS factory.
Driving the essence of the Classic Fusion Chronograph Orlinski is the self-winding caliber HUB1153 by Hublot, oscillating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering a substantial power reserve of 42 hours. Its vitality is unveiled beneath the sapphire case back, where a partially skeletonized rotor, proudly showcasing the brand’s logo, assumes a prominent role at the forefront. The animation of this intricate mechanism is brought to the forefront through the transparent case back, offering a captivating glimpse into the inner workings of the timepiece.
